- Albury Wodonga Invites you to join us on a bus tour to the Evercrop site, Yerong Creek which is testing the effect of establishment method on four different perennial species and a look at vertical integration of the Yalandra Fine Foods production system including Scott Giltrap’s Jindera breeding farm and the East Albury retail butchery.

- The tour will consist of two property visits, retail butcher visit, morning tea, BBQ lunch and coach travel for participants.

- Jeff McCormack will discuss the questions: Is sowing the pasture straight better than sowing it under a crop? Can perennial pastures be sown in spring successfully? Do different perennials respond differently? The perennial species include lucerne, chicory, phalaris and cocksfoot. The experiment has monitored the effects that establishment method continues to have on pasture and will be looking at the effects on the following crop.
