Mid-Goulburn Branch

The mid-Goulburn branch of the GSSA covers most of the Goulburn Valley, Mansfield, Benalla, and Dookie across to Heathcote and down to the Yarra Valley.  The 2017 GSSA Annual Conference was held in the region, at Mitchelton Winery, Nagambie.

The area is comprised of some 'hard country' as well as river flats.  Most members in the branch are sheep and beef producers.

The branch underwent a re-invigoration in late 2018, with Ron Harris taking on the role of branch President.  

March 2022

The Branch held a field day in March 2022 - Sustainable and Profitable Grazing Systems.  Victoria's 2020 Coles Weekly Times Beef Farmers of the Year Olivia and Tom Lawson opened their enterprise for the day, which highlighted the importance of land stewardship and profitability.
